BlackCar.ng (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a premium chauffeur booking service through our mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and sign-in details when you create an account (including Google or Apple sign-in).
- Booking information: pickup and drop-off locations, trip dates and times, vehicle preferences, flight details (for airport transfers), and payment status.
- Location data: approximate or precise location when you use map features to set pickup or drop-off points, with your permission.
- Device and usage data: device type, app version, and basic diagnostics needed to operate and improve the service.
- Payment information: payment method selection and transaction status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

- To book, confirm, and fulfill rides with our drivers

How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- Drivers / operators: trip details needed to fulfill your booking
- Service providers: hosting, maps (Google Maps), authentication, and payment processors (e.g. Stripe)
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights and safety
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain account and booking records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
BlackCar.ng is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region).

- Update account details in the app
- Deny or revoke location permission in your device settings
